Raja Riaz Ahmad son of Raja Sher Muhammad Khan was born on July 26, 1961 at Faisalabad and graduated from Government College, Faisalabad. An agriculturist, who served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 1993-96, 2002-07, and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third term in general eletions 2008. He remained Senior Minister, Government of the Punjab holding the portfolio of Minister for Irrigation & Power.
