Mrs Riffat Sultana Dar wife of Mian Mehmood-ul-Hassan Dar was born at Faisalabad. She obtained the degree of BA in 1980 from Government Islamia College, Faisalabad and that of B.Ed. in 1985 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She served as teacher in Education Department during 1986-89 and as banker during 1989-2008. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. Her husband served as Member, Punjab Assembly during 1977 and 1988-90.
