Mrs Amna Ulfat wife of Mr Muhammad Nawaz was born in Lahore. She graduated in 1992 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A business lady, who has served as Member, Advisory Council for Industry and Production; as Member, Board of Governors, Lahore Arts Council and as District Member, Zakat and Ushr Committee Lahore. She has been holding different positions in Rotary Club. She is the first Chairperson, Crisis Center for Women in Distress, Lahore and is also an Executive Member of World Punjabi Union. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women and is a member of Standing Committee on Bait-ul-Maal, Social Welfare & Women Development. She has visited UK, Turkey, India, UAE, Philiphines, USA, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Saudi Arabia
