Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Mr Shah Muhammad Joiya son of Malik Sajjad Hussain Joiya was born on July 25, 1990 at Kehror Pakka. He post-graduated in International Relations in 2015 from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. He served as Chairman, Union Council during 2015-18. A landlord, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018. He has travelled to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Dubai. He hails from a renowned political family. His grandfather, Malik Shah Muhammad remained Member, Provincial Assembly of Punjab during 1977 and 1985-88; his father, remained Member Punjab Assembly during 1988-90, 1990-93, 1993-96 and 2013-18; his uncle, Mr Aslam Joiya remained Member Punjab Assembly during 1997-99; and his another uncle, Mr Ajmal Joiya served as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI).
