Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak son of Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak was born on June 29, 1974 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of B.Sc. Engineering (Electronics) in 1996 from College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (CEME), Rawalpindi. An agriculturist, who remained Member Punjab Assembly during 2002-07 and functioned as Minister for Finance. He has been re-elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the second term in General Elections 2018 and is functioning as Minister for Livestock & Dairy Development. His father served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for six terms during 1972-77, 1977, 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93, 2013-18 and functioned as Minister for Food and Cooperatives during 1973-75; as Minister for Irrigation during 1975-77; as Minister for Irrigation, Law & Parliamentary Affairs during 1988-90; and as Minister for Planning & Development, Law & Parliamentary Affairs during 1991-93. He was also a Member of National Assembly during 1997-99, 2002-07 and is a sitting MNA.
