Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Mrs Neelam Hayat Malik wife of Mr Muhammad Hayat Malik was born on March 5, 1956 in Lahore. She graduated in 1977 and obtained the degree of Masters (English Language Teaching) in 2009 from Kinnaird College, Lahore. A social worker, who is currently serving as Chairperson of a School for underprivileged children. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for women. She has travelled to USA, UK, Maldives, Sri Lanka and UAE. She is a Member of Syndicate, Home Economics University Lahore; Pak Tianjin University Lahore; and Qarshi University, Muridkay. She is serving as a Member of Human Rights Ministry nominated by Punjab Government and as General Secretary, Women Parliamentary Caucus for the year 2019-20.
