Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.

Personal Career & Interests

Mr Peter Gill son of Mr Abdullah Gill was born on April 15, 1939 at Faisalabad. He passed Intermediate from Islamia College, Faisalabad. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for five consecutive terms during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93, 1993-96, 1997-99 and has returned to Punjab Assembly for the sixth term in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for non-Muslims. His son, Mr Amir Gill served as Member, District Council during 2000-02.
