Ch Khalid Mahmood, Advocate, son of Mr Hussain Bakhsh, was born on March 10, 1965 at Faisalabad. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1996 from Islamia University, Bahawalpur; and is a practising lawyer. He served as Chairman Union Council during 1991-92; as Member Zila Council, Faisalabad during 1998-99, and as Nazim, Union Council No. 127, Faisalabad during 2001-2002. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, and is serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock & Dairy Development since August 5, 2003. His uncle, Ch Ghulam Nabi, was Member National Assembly during 1972-77.
