Mian Naveed Jahania, son of Chaudhry Hameed Ullah, was born on September 20, 1962 at Jahania. He obtained the degree of B.Sc (Electrical Engineering) in 1985 from Institute of Engineering, London and that of B.Sc. (Business Studies) in 1992 from Griffin College, Seattle, USA. He served as Naib Tehsil Nazim, during 2001-02. A businessman, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002.
