Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Rana Abdul Sattar Khan son of Rana Shamim Ahmad Khan was born on March 2, 1982. He served as Member, National Assembly during 2008-13; and as Member Punjab Assembly during 2013-18. He has been re-elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the second consecutive term in General Elections 2018. His father remained Member, Punjab Assembly for five terms during 1985-96 and 2008-13; and also served as Advisor to Chief Minister during 1993-96; as Member National Assembly during 2013-18 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Interior & Narcotics and is a sitting MNA.
